I know the censor-an-apparently-innocent-image joke is played, but I couldn't resist throwing it in here. This is more or less how my mornings go.

Those of you who don't use Internet Explorer: click on any comic to see something mildly neat. Sorry IE isn't supported for this one, but the way it supports CSS pseudo-classes doesn't allow for the effect. I wish I could implement it in IE because I'm not entirely sure if IE's behavior is non-standard or simply different from the others browsers', but I can't think of a way to do it that doesn't involve learning Javascript, and that's way more effort than I'm about to put forth.

I usually sketch out Toast's journals (and all my random ideas) on a steno pad, a bit larger than half the size of a normal sheet of paper. When I made these all I had with me were some spiral-bound index cards, so I took the smallness theme and worked it into a comic. Two comics, actually, to make up for the smallosity.

Phew. That last comic was supposed to go up Friday. However, I was gone from Wednesday until Saturday, and I never did manage to get connected to the 'tubes during that period. So, when Typo stopped working for no real reason I didn't know about it until yesterday, and didn't get around to fixing it until just now. I have failed my duties as an administrator and will now go commit hara-kiri. No, wait, I won't be doing that.So that was kind of a pain, but it is kind of nice to have it not be my fault that my website was nonfunctional for once. New episode will be up tomorrow, assuming no unexpected difficulties (and that I don't change my mind about the hara-kiri thing).

I'm leaving town for a few days. The comic will update itself but I will have occasional 'net access so I will still read comments and such.
On that note: comments are fantastic and I love them, but if you're going to leave them, don't be a prick, use your own name/handle (or anonymous, I don't care), and remember this is a public site anyone can read. Including my parents. And your parents. Inside jokes belong on the inside.
