Journals of Toast 42

This is the first time I've ever changed font size. Then again, it's also probably the first time I've been tempted to make it larger. Usually I want to make it smaller so that I can fit greater heaps of text into 500 pixels of width. I do not allow myself to do this.
Also: 42! Whee!

On the one hand, squirrels eat oak trees’ babies. But on the other, if they didn’t grab the seeds and bury them all over the place, there wouldn’t be nearly as many oak trees.
Maybe baby-eatin’ is a necessary evil.
Hey, I’m just a political scientist/mathematician. Don’t be gettin’ all ecological on me.
Ecology is just a shaky derivative of math and averages and other complexy things.
I could explain that statement, but that would involve some thinking, and I’m sure you already know what I mean.
I’m not going to try to leave something witty.
But this is a statement that I was here.
That is a vile looking squirrel. Serious. Demon squirrel.
People keep telling me that everything is a derivative of math. Yeah right. Music? Come on. Ecosystems, come on.
Everything isn’t a derivative of math. Math is an abstraction of everything.
Hey, I just read the funniest Journal of Toast yet, and he didn’t even poop and then scoot away.
