Journals of Toast 11

I'm a little uncomfortable posting this, for a number of reasons.
- Given Toast's propensity for oddball philosophy, it's really easy to make jokes where I say "hey, look how unrealistic concept X vaguely resembles real-world practice Y! Oh, man, burn!" Cheap shots are too easy and they tend not to be funny.
- I'm not entirely sure how widespread the concept of high school student government is, and those not familiar with it won't get the joke.
- It will piss off people who are/were involved in student government who have no sense of humor.
- It will piss off libertarians who have no sense of humor.
- There's no art in the comic. Can it be called a comic if there's no art? I don't really care whether the label of "comic" applies, but it seems a little empty without any pictures.

Text-only is fine. I like it.
I agree, it might seem forced if you put in Toast where he wasn’t necessary.
But are you trying to say that high school represents some facet of ideal society? I don’t get it.
Toast is saying that high school student government is pointless. Popularity contest and all. Anyone who refuses to put up with that kind of government must not have gone to high school.
Or gone to a high school that didn’t have an SGA, which pretty much ruins the joke. Ah well. I tried.
